Unemployment status denied #unemploymentinsurance
Hi I need y’all help. I moved from FL 7/2019 to TX I have been working full time in TX since 8/19 was placed on furlough because restaurant closed doors. I filed for unemployment in TX on 3/15 before the states made the changes on the website base on #coronavirus federal guideline. I was denied “ not enough hrs to qualify “ I appealed twice No reply. No communication. The phone lines re impossible to get through
Please send me some light. I’m on day #41 without income #unemployment #texas #florida #unemploymentinsurance

This bothers me because your an out of work American not Texan or Floridian. Your work history must be recognized not lost in red tape! Pulling for you, Ford

I don't know if Ga has the same rules as Tx. But, I would also file in FL. Either way if you had wages in both states they can be combined. There is also something called About( alternate base period) by using this you may be able to use wages outside your ABP to get your claim valid. Keep calling Texas, try different last 4 numbers of tel#. Good luck. Be encouraged, things will work out!!

Hey Karina, that's a super frustrating experience and you're not alone in having difficulty getting through on the phone. If you haven't already, you can find more information about your state specific unemployment [here.] (https://www.jobcase.com/ru/unemployment-benefits-texas)

Go to the states website, read, read, read and become an expert.
In Md I have a similar situation at least you got through I haven’t been able to send telecerts because of no application PIN number cannot get in touch with a human person Hang in there make it your job to file and Get your money
