The remote online hiring process may have proved to be a successful hiring method during the COVID-19 outbreak but many fear this new approach simply does not work as a permanent long term hiring practice.

Where you recently hired via a virtual interview or hiring event? How would you rate your experience?

As far as virtual vs in-person pluses and minuses, on the positive side, job seekers said virtual interviews provide flexibility, protect interviewers/interviewees and assess communication skills.

As for negatives, lot's of potential candidates mentioned problems with connectivity, webcam and audio issues, and potential fraud.
