A man is defined by his character, actions, and values. It is important to approach discussions and questions with an open mind and empathy. If a question triggers someone, it is essential to have respectful and thoughtful conversations to understand their perspective. #communication #empathy

Extremists asking the question trigger them. I'm an almost extinct moderate and I can tell you exactly why this question would not trigger anyone 10 years ago, but is explosive today. Ask me what a man is, and I'll tell you it is a human with XY genetics, that barring genetic or physical mishaps, possesses a penis. This penis, if all is functioning well, produces semen with viable sperm. These sperm, if all conditions are ideal, if they come in contact with a viable human ovum, might fertilize it. If all goes well, roughly 9 months later, a human neonate might be delivered. See where this answer might cause a screaming contest 0.2 seconds into my answer, depending on who is asking the question? If you don't see, you've been hiding under a rock. I grew up a tomboy. 99 percent of the time I wore "boy" clothes, played with "boy" toys, sat at lunch with boys, trained w the boys and ran a 4:59 mi, 10:59 2 mi, and got best freshman award in college cross country, and became an engineer. My 3 daughters got full tuition scholarships by studying for their SATs, no favors. We all grew up middle class. Not even one microsecond did I ever consider a sex change. As I get older, I'm incredibly thankful for being female, because I never have performance issues. Ever. Men may have gotten the job advantages over me for decades, but I still have continuous intergalactic bedroom enjoyment. My mom didnt take any pain relief while pregnant with me, she was just very tired, no morning sickness. We lived far from major pollution and chemicals. This entire "what is a man" topic is an utter quagmire today. That's why the question is triggering. Until we progress farther into what is going on from a hard science perspective, propaganda and agenda will trigger recipients of what should be simple questions. If character is the actual question, then be explicit. We have a wealth gap problem that is far more pressing. Men move to another state and work under the table to avoid crippling child support, leaving millions of US children to grow up with desperate food insecurity, when their dads don't sneak back and set their apartment on fire. Murder has been the number one cause of death for pregnant American women, long before this entire horrific Roe v Wade reversal. Deadbeat dads are competing directly with immigrants for under the table jobs, hence the backlash. We need to stop only feeding billionaires and teach what even my poor public school taught me. I thought my school was bad until I had to teach base 2 math to a masters degree mechanical engineer so he could to his bar code assignment at Ford. Our schools are in the GUTTER now. The US is effectively a 2nd world country at best. Yet we all create triggers over a simple question about "what is a man." We should be asking how can a man, a woman, or even a robot even dream of properly supporting a family anymore?
