What I loved about working at #USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service was
I don't have many love stories to tell about my experiences with the USDA. I did manage to be awarded two certificates of achievement in September crops. I was a phone enumerator making calls to farmers & ranchers all through this nation to get the statistics on their operations. I took a lot of verbal abuse from some operators. I was wrongfully terminated a few days before Christmas of 2018. It had nothing to do with my job performance. It was a bathroom incident where I used the restroom not realizing that there was a female janitor who must have been cleaning in one of the stalls. She raised a huge stink & I was met at the front door by my supervisor the next morning telling me that I was suspended until a hearing could be arranged. I never did get a hearing. I received a termination letter in the mail in January and I started filing for unemployment.

One thing I would have loved to have at #USDA was
Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian job. Ensue that the establishments are working under compliance. Also worked as a district epidemiology officer to investigate the food borne illnesses.

What made me stay at #USDA was the Benefits, Career opportunities, the people.
