Working in USDA/FSIS is a career, I began as a field inspector; that’s what I loved, I was passionate about learning every disease and getting the training I needed to perform my duties above average, you don’t want to just learn a job, you want to excel at it and I that’s how I felt about USDA my knowledge took me into facilities and into the District Office where I performed my duties at a higher standard because I believed in serving the people I had worked with side by side with high standards!

It was a civil servent job. I got enjoyment knowing or hoping, that my contribution may have made a difference for the food safety for America.
