To become a substitute teacher you have to contact the school districts office for whatever county it's located in. They will have paperwork and graining for you to attend before you can substitute. To become a certified substitute you have to have a teaching license issued from the state in which you plan to teach. To obtain a teaching license you must get a Bachelors degree in teaching or if you have a Bachelors degree in another field then you can do what's called an alternate route. This consists of 6 to 10 classes and then you have to take the praxis one and two test. If you pass then you receive your teaching license.

I am currently taking a little bit of a step-back regarding my education/career. I am still working towards my associates in business management. when covid came around, it was right in the middle of a semester. it made things different to say the least.. but I completed the semester. and we'll return where I left off, after I have a stable living situation. which includes income. it's necessary to move forward, with the best possible potential.

Hi Nancy, I find that listing all of your skills ( hard /as well as soft ) helps you land Or grows ones career. While listing your skills, you could 'discover' yourself' and it could lead into 'other' objectives. Career wise. Good Luck!!

I won’t to have a career instead of a job. I’m tired of going job to job. I won’t to become apart of a team that’s about there business.I just won’t to find the right place for me to provide for my family

I'm looking for somewhere to start and grace my foot in a career industry I'll enjoy and dedicate my life to. I don't have a dream job, but I have a dream where I'm content and stable and I need experience and opportunity to reach my goal that WILL shape into reality.

I just went through a similar struggle. It’s mindblowing how many spam websites for jobs have been created over the last few years. I got overwhelmed with so many of them. Besides here or the direct company website, the only ones I trust now are ZipRecruiter and indeed.

Go directly to their career website. Be very careful about applying online to jobs that start asking for too much information such as date of birth. Some "recruiting" companies are literally using AI to scan for that information as well as your phone number. Get a Google Voice number while looking for a job
