Hi All: Below is a great example of another scam. I received the below e-mail this morning:

Now, some warning signs to look for here. Notice how there is no job description, no company name, nothing to indicate exactly what you would be doing. 2nd thing is the poor grammar. 3rd thing was the fact that the e-mail sent has no signature from anyone, just "Human Resources" and of course another trigger was the fact that the interview would be held via Google Hangouts. One thing I would like to point out is the e-mail address where it came from. Ask Emily has posted previously how scammers would set up phony websites using well-known company names and just change them slightly such as adding a hyphen or in this case adding the "inc." after boeing. There is an excellent resource I would like to share with you all called iptrackeronline.com. This is a free website where you can input information from an e-mail and they can track where it came from amongst other valuable info. Take a look below at what they discovered for boeinginc.com:

Now, notice that this "website" was created on 05/15/17 for 1 year only using Vista Print. It is HIGHLY unlikely that a legitimate company would use a free website service such as Vista Print and only register said site for 1 year. Of course, if you go to boeinginc.com it directs you to Vista Print.

Be careful and dilligent in your research folks!

Recently my brother got a job with a company called "Civmec" and what he does is he will go to locations like Walmart and accept incoming money grams and then go to a different Walmart and send them to a specified location. He gets to keep 10% of the money gram as payment. This to me has a million red flags all over it. I treid to tell him its a scam first of all because he takes 10% and it's cash with no pay stubs or paper trail so there is no way to tax it and even a legit commission job has a form pay stubs. Also he is sending some of these to places like South Africa and Puerto Rico. He says that it's for their payroll but that's ridiculous also, why can't Civmec just send it to that address themselves. I told him that they are setting him up as the scapegoat for whatever they are doing but he still thinks they are a legit business. Please don't just tell me this sounds like a scam, I know it sounds like one. Is there anyone out there this has happened to before? Or can anyone find me solid proof this is a scam. I just don't want my brother in law to get in serious trouble with the law. Please help me.

Further instructions followed and I did what I was asked of. On Monday, I check my checking account and the check that I deposited bounced and I was stuck paying back 2500.00. I had already taken out the funds and sent them by Money gram and I am now stuck paying back the 2500.00. The guy in the e-mail that I was supposed working for is no where to be found.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM.

Just a tip. When a person contacts you that they have a job for you but send you an application or other form BEWARE! I just received an application and a I9 to fill out. Both request a social security number. This is not required and is only a scam. Never give a social security number before being hired.

#Scam #Advice In the past couple weeks I have received a couple of calls on my cell phone, telling me that I have been selected to receive a grant from the US Government. In case you get one, please be advised these are scams. They give you some random reason, such as you are unemployed, and tell you that you can choose where to claim the funds, such as Walmart, CVS, etc (someplace that has a Western Union and you will need to pay a small fee (250 - 300) to get the funds.

I have been through a couple government grants processes for nonprofits, and please believe me when I tell you the Federal government does not randomly select individuals to receive grants. Receiving a grant is a long and arduous process where you must proved that you meet the exact qualifications for the grant.

Wipro Limited is a scammer. Every work from home company that has contacted me has been a scam artist. Don't even bother with them.
