My advice to people interested in working at #Riddick&RiddickGeneralContractorLLC as a #President&owner ...
We mainly did demolition at Riddick and Riddick so it was about safety at all times. But I would always tell the men to learn and teach each other that's why I believe even though we had a short run of 5 years it was some of the best times of Our Lives. I was blessed and fortunate to have a group of Good Men that not only knew what they were doing but they supported me and whatever success that I achieved it came from God and them.
Knowing the people you were dealing with didn't have your best interest but you have theirs. I'm not going to say it was a mistake because people are who they are. You have people with the highest level of integrity and you have some people with the lowest of morals. With most people it's always about the score keeping count. I've learned it's about the people that's what makes us successful the people.
Knowing things was coming to an end and watching the people that supported you that wasn't a very good feeling. Knowing this was peoples livelihood and their quality of life coming to an end that was a hard pill to swallow.
Knowing these are the people you deal with on a daily basis you do your very best to make sure all parties are successful. Great employees make a great company. Great employees and loyal customers is the recipe for a truly great business. It's about the people that helps makes the business.
Knowing that I was a part of something bigger than me. To see the guys coming to work every day and enjoy what they were doing gave everybody a sense of accomplishment. Seen a man to be able to take care of his family and do better for himself witnessing that it was wonderful.
