Event Planner
I've been out of work for 2 years due to moving out of state and getting my family situated. In the meantime I have been a Property Manager for my rental properties. I'm extremenly anxious and ready to return to work. My obstacle is a cover letter. I'm having writer's block and am wondering what resources have been used by others in the past.

PC Repaired
So I realized that not everyone is looking for work right now but I'm speaking to those who are. Let me know what you are looking for and I will help you and forward any information I can dig up. Let's pool together and get everyone that wants to work working.

Pure Michigan... (Link to brush up on your Microsoft Skills for free)
My view from my home office in my den. Probably the last time I will see a bloom until next spring. All my other potted plants are covered in snow, glad I can still see the pretty geraniums in this hanging basket while I work. I haven't posted any new jobs since most that I find are already posted but I am on the case. also taking this time before I start my new position to take a few refresher courses in advanced Excel and Access.
For the beginner and the advanced user alike Microsoft offers some free training. Even though I'm certified I have forgotten a lot since I don't often use a lot of these skills. Visit this website for training on most of Microsoft's suite of applications. Just click on the app you want training in.

Let's pool our resources
Greetings all,
We all have information that may not be helpful to us but very helpful to others. We live here, work here, shop here and play here. who better to consult than each other. You may know of an opening that doesn't fit your needs but someone else may be looking for exactly that. Someone else may be researching a company that you have worked for previously or may have been a client or customer. We have the ability with a few clicks to have a network of people with "real" information thus increasing our odds of achieving our goals. Let's take this to the next level and step up our game.

Starbucks leads the way - free college tuition anyone?
Very impressive move by Starbucks. Definitely makes me want to encourage jobcasers to double-click the jobs tab up above and search for a Starbucks in their area. Check it out on the link...

Macy's and Gimbel's-- 34th street had it right
In the classic Christmas movie "Miracle on 34th Street" Santa starts telling Macy's customers where they can get products from other stores that are either cheaper, or in stock more, than Macy's. Even sending them to Macy's arch-rival - Gimbels.
I think Santa had it right.
If you are truly concerned with your customer- you want them to get the very best service and information. And, if you are honest, that is not always going to be done best by you every time.
We have great partners on this site (like Indeed, Careerbuilder, Glassdoor for example) where we think they might have different job inventory or better information than us. We also don't mind suggesting other places you might be better served like www.careeronestop.org.
