Computer

When sport clips got in a new computer system. All the kinks were not worked out. And taking care of the clients and working with a screwed up system. That was very stressful. And inconvenient for me and the customers. If it's not broken then why fix it. The old program worked well. Why they changed it. I guess I'll never know.!!!!!

Question, should I invest in sites that offers interviewing techniques training?

I am wondering it is a good idea to purchase a product that offers to assist with interviewing techniques. I am getting some interviews not many but some and was thinking of investing in a package offered to is a course and tips, training for interviewing. I have been looking for a year now and maybe it what I am or not saying during the interview.

Help!

What can you do after working for an employer for close to ten years and you develop a vision problem and your doctor recommends for your safety you should no longer drive at night? You inform the employer and provide your doctor's documents to verify these facts but the employer refuses to accommodate you. I have even read employers accommodating those with a disability when filling out an application. This employer is giving somewhat of a hard time accommodating the doctor's wishes. The regular hours can still be maintained by coming in early and leaving before night time which is done sometimes but since the schedules are rotated the employer is having problems giving a set early schedule to accommodate the vision disability. Is there any form a recourse here or does the employer have the upper hand and can do whatever they wish after someone suffers a disability? I will sincerely appreciate any comments and suggestions about this. Thank you.

Keeping My Head Up

Like many with a distant shady past I am struggling to acquire meaningful employment (or any job for that matter). I want to encourage everyone that there are people out there who have the forgiving heart to hire people like me and you. Keep searching, talk to the people in your life who genuinely care and won't try to just feed you a line. The resources are there, church family, sites like JobCase, and other less known groups like MERS: Goodwill in Saint Louis. And pray... Be thankful for what and who you do have. And don't forget past employers, they may surprise you. I've commented a few times now. And read the replies. Way to go, friends, on being encouraging. It really matters. The only other suggestions is making sure these employers know about the federal bonding and tax credit programs that are available ONLY if they hire ex-felons (emphasis on "EX"). Kelly, keep it up, and remember, you have us to talk to. God bless, everyone.
