Cvs is a horrible company.

Cvs cares nothing about its employees or their safety. I was there for almost 13 years, got robbed twice and they did nothing to make us safer. They expect 2 people to do everything in one shift. They would rather hire people off the street than promote from within. Horrible, selfish people. Do not recommend.

My biggest challenge I overcame at work was...

During my position as a Administrative Support Clerk/Customer Service Rep. A co-worker wanted me to fill in her position as a Asst. Director two days prior to her surgery so that day we stay at work going over everything I needed to run the business, after long hours of work this was challenging because it was my first time doing this to make my co worker happy. I overcame this challenge by taking this job as a Asst. Director and showing that I can accomplish this task. My co-worker was very impressed and recommended me for a higher position

I was proud to work for #Albertson's because

They gave me an opportunity to advance in my department, and steady income, I became employee if the month in less than 3 months, as well as I received an award for outstanding service due to a Secret Shopper. So it was evident that my upper manegment as well as my team, fellow co-workers were acknowleding my work and efforts. I enjoyed my time with Albertson's, and every company had it's ups and downs. I enjoyed my time with Albertsons and Thank You.

Odd type of interview.

I have an odd type of interview coming up next week.

Corporate is most likely not renewing their contract with the distributorship whom I’m currently employed by. They claim they are still negotiating but the other dustributirship in the state have been “absorbed “.

The National head of US sales is meeting with all of the current sales reps next week. I assume these are one on one meetings.

My questions are. 1. Do you think this is just a meet and greet type of meeting ? 2. A meeting to get a feel of what we think about the current management or 3. Is this about my current roles / capabilities and how I will fit within the new company should it be formed.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you.

God is in control dont loose hope

I know sometimes life can take an unexpected turn and we seem to find our selves down and out of hope. Loss of a job a family member, ended relationship. All those things can have an effect on our every day jobs. But know that God is in control of every situation. I had been working for a truck driving company making money just enough to get by living paycheck to paycheck. And I'm sure many can relate to this. I recieved a call from a beverage company and offerd a little bit better pay. I prayed over it and asked God if this was the best move for me then he will make a way. A week later I got a call for the interview. Well while in the interview the managers and the supervisor offerd 2 dollars more then what we originally had discussed. So starting my possition I already started making more then other people that have been there for years. I call that Gods favor. Few months go by I work to learn as much as I can diffrent types of machines and 5 months in I get offerd a promotion that came with another 1.50 raise. Ofcourse I said yes. Well everyone who works for any type of beverage company will know work fluctuates ALOT some weeks its busy others its slow. And I was back to the whole paycheck to paycheck plan. And I had a bit of doubt and was starting to think if it was the right move for me. Well Gods plans are not my plans. 4 months into my possition I was offerd a supervisor possition. And there was a few things that didnt make me THE perfect candidate for the job but God had his plans. I was offerd max pay with a 10% yearly income bonus Wich sounded berry nice. But I still had my doubts about it. But God has his plans... After my interview with the warehouse manager and plant manager they said I was the perfect candidate and they will be moving forward with my application. The entire time I prayed for it asked Jesus for guidance and he showed me the way... Jeremiah 29:11-15... My friends know that God is in control of your situation and dont loose faith he has your back

Really over my employer

I have applied for 18 positions at my employer and I have not received any promotions.Long story short, if you are not in the clique of the good o’l boys, you will not get promoted. Doesn’t matter if you are qualified and have an education. My employer goes as far as changing the qualifications to get their buddy in that position. Bottom line, I AM DONE WITH THE GOOD O’L BOYS MENTALITY.

INTERVIEWS: CLIMBING THE LADDER! (The more you know, the higher you can go.)

HOW CAN I CLIMB THE LADDER? (Are you ready to change your life?)

7 - IRREFUTABLE DON'T(S) YOU NEED TO KNOW!

#1. DON'T listen to negative comments from others. (It can damage your hearing capabilities.) #2. DON'T engage in hostile conversations. (It can damage the "spoken words" you use.) #3. DON'T speak bad things about others. (What you say can comeback and haunt you.) #4. DON'T follow in others footsteps. (Create your own path, then, leave your footprints for others to follow.) #5. DON'T laugh at the disabilities of others. (We all are as strong as our minds allow us to be.) #6. DON'T point your finger at anyone. (Because there's usually four fingers pointing back at you.) #7. DON'T ever forget to give thanks. (Because all blessings come from above.)

I Believe You Can...!
