Your FIRST Job Requirement...

Get to know people. The reason you haven't aced your interviews and are reading this is because you aren't reading the room. Go watch some long NLP videos on YouTube. NLP means Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It is the basis for direct subconscious suggestion. Part of NLP is reading people and emulating their body movements and tone/speed. When you do this, they begin to accept you as "on the same page,", and when you learn NLP, you can direct them to be on YOUR page (did it 3 times, today)...

Learn people. Go people watch. Pick up a psychology or negotiation book. Watch YouTube! Learn how people operate and learn to read non-verbal cues. This will get you the higher pay, like I always got. In every position, I maxed out or even stretched what my position paid. People skills are life skills. #jobsearch #interview #peopleskills

It's All in the Delivery....

A question asked in my LinkedIn network was: "You're being asked during the interview if you're currently applying for other positions at other companies... Do you think your answer might be one of the decisive factors whether they hire you or not...?"

My response: It's all in delivery...

"Yes, I am exploring other opportunities, because I believe in making informed decisions with all options open. Never take an offer off the table, until the table breaks in suspense." <=== Answer awesome for any PR or litigation job.

"I m not looking elsewhere, because i have thoroughly researched your company, including your pivot in 2007, according to your financial reports, and I like your style. Your company is right for me, and I am right for your company. Why pass on a good thing?" <=== You just pitched them for the job and placed them in a position where they would have to accept being a social jerk, in order to not hire you.

Go watch a few long YouTubes on NLP, and you will understand how and all I did there. Educate yourselves on people to pass the first job requirement. #jobsearch #interview #nlp #peopleskills
