Working towards management at papa johns
So recently I was told that I'm being looked at as a new manager. Now this all sounds great considering I'm a driver right now making minimum wage which is like $8.50 an hour. Plus tips which on a normal day is around $45-50. Now as a manager I'd be making $12 an hour working a potential 40 hours a week. Right now I have just under 35 and last week I worked 52 hours. My income monthly is around $1600 but I dont want to stay a driver for long cause its putting wear and tear on my car, plus I'm filling up on gas twice a week. Which is about $25 - 50 depending on how much I drive. As a manager I'd be losing a bit of income but I'd be gaining health insurance. Should I continue to go for management or should I stay as a driver?

The best benefit at #PapaJohn's was definitely...
Well papa John's in Cleveland is a very good, friendly work place. It is always kept very nice and clean and nothing is ever dirty or cluttered. While working at pap John's in cleveland you receive 50% off any pizza and any 20oz soft drink is a dollar.

Love the fast paced kitchen environment
I work at Papa John’s in the kitchen and I always love the rushes when we’re making pizzas nonstop. Sometimes you feel like you were going to fall over but when it’d quiet down again suddenly that’s 2hrs gone and your shift is about to end soon. Sure I’m going home covered in flour but the night flew by and I feel like I put in some hard work. No better feeling.

Encouraging work & manager
My manager is very encouraging to me I just started working a Papa John’s recently and I don’t know everything and im def not as fast as some of my coworkers, but he always takes a minute or two to try and coach me and its really great so far. The pay is decent especially if i takee over a driver shift. Sometimes the customers are really annoying but its a good job

Manager rolled up his sleeves
I am a manager now at papa johns but I started off making pizzas and it could get pretty busy, but we were a hard-working crew and we usually got through it. Though there was this one day when it was pouring out and the orders just kept coming in and in. We were seriously killing ourselves trying to get pizzas out the door and our manager was right there with us slapping dough and helping us through by making jokes while he did it. I didn’t know him that well at that point but I really respected him after seeing that. I regularly do the same now that I'm in his shoes. Managers take note and always roll up your sleeves and help out when your staff needs an extra set of hands!

What I loved working at #Papajohns
I loved the fact I could actually move up in a position and make a difference in the work place

Help please
I work at Papa John's as an assistant manager. I was suspended for money I didn't steal, threatened numerous times and I've been talked to like a dog by the owner. I tried to call corporate but since it's privately owned and a franchise, my complaints would go to the person I have a problem with which is my boss. What can I do? Nothing?

I used my skills at #Papajohns to make things better when I
Am able to keep things organized and moving forward when we are hit with a big rush.
