Supervisor at Social Security Administration

You go to USAJobs.gov and create an account. You can then search for any type of federal job that is currently being offered including Social Security. I hope this helps and wish you the best of luck!

Thoughts/Feelings on Your Role as an Administrative Assistant

Hi Folks: I have worked as an administrative assistant most of my adult life. I hear, today, from other admins that their companies frequently use them to "wipe the floor with", meaning they get all the jobs no one else wants to be bothered with. For all you men & women who work in this role, what are YOUR thoughts?

Growing up in Lahore, Pakistan, I always had a passion for business and marketing. I pursued this passion by studying Business Administration and Finance at the Lahore School of Economics. I was particularly drawn to the subjects of marketing and finance, and I was able to hone my skills in these areas through my coursework and internships.

After completing my Bachelor's degree, I began my career at Group Multiple as a Digital Marketing Executive. I was responsible for overseeing and developing marketing campaigns for brands such as Filippo Berio, Bragg, Wilton, and Ahmad Tea. My role involved managing the company's e-commerce website, analyzing trends to define and establish online sales objectives, and building relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.

As my career progressed, I took on increasingly senior roles in the marketing industry. I worked as an Account Manager at SOCO Digital Agency, where I developed social media and digital campaigns for brands, and as a Digital Creative Manager at Orient McCann, where I led teams in creating innovative digital multi-platform campaigns for clients such as Coca-Cola, Nippon Paints, Nestle, Ecolean, Huawei, Loreal, Maybelline, and Bank of Punjab.

Throughout my career, I have always been driven by a desire to learn and grow. I realized that to take my career to the next level, I needed to develop my skills in data manipulation, statistical modeling, and business analytics. So, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Business Analytics at the Stetson-Hatcher School of Business at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am currently in my final year of the program and have had the opportunity to take courses such as Data-Driven Decision Making and Optimization, Advanced Business Statistics, Visual Reporting and Communication, Management Analytics, Data Mining, Marketing Analytics, Legal Issues Affecting Big Data, and Financial Analytics. These courses have provided me with a solid foundation in business analytics and have given me the skills and knowledge I need to excel in my field.

As I look to the future, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. I am currently working as a Rec Sports Assistant at Sheffield Gym at Mercer University, where I am planning and organizing day-to-day activities, including programs and marketing campaigns, and designing marketing collateral and other campaigns to optimize website content, flyers, public relations, and social media to increase sports complex footfall. I am confident that my combination of marketing experience and business analytics skills will make me a valuable asset to any company looking to drive business growth.
