I've put in 50+ applications in the past month and I took a cashier job at a locally owed grocery store but the manager knew I wasn't staying. I received 2 calls one from Food City a pretty big chain grocery store and one from Murphy's USA a chain gas station both offered me jobs but as a cashier. I love management, I know I could take either of these and possibly work my way up but on my way home Friday a lady from Family Dollar called and asked if I was still interested in a job, it's for Assistant Store Manager of course I said yes, so I go Tuesday at noon to interview with her. I really hope she hires me, I haven't given either of the other 2 jobs a final answer just in case she doesn't hire me. Wish me luck!!!!

Well seeing that you would be at a register any time that it was the end of your shift make sure that you always count down your own money. Also try to enjoy yourself all people are not polite even though I'm sure you already know that. And always do unto others as you would like them to do unto you.

I strongly feel that there weren't too many mistakes to be made because in my eyes there are no such thing as a big mistake I feel in the workplace any mistake that is made it can be fixed so therefore I feel that there is no such thing as a big or bigger mistake only small.

When customers or coworkers come in already upset and take it out on you for instance yelling in your face for no apparent reason rather than taking a deep breath when things didn't go their way.

If someone ever got upset with me. Especially a customer normally I say okay ma'am or sir what can I do to help ease your mind or fix the problem anytime I upset a customer or I noticed that a customer was upset I tried to make them happy. Now as for the co-worker I did try to keep their minds at ease but I tried harder with the customers.

All of the customers i loved. Now i didnt like all of the coworker.
