I loved that #McDonalds offers its employees...
I love it because we work as a team. We help each other and we always support each other. They compliments our co workers.

Finally employed again
Today I had an interview at McDonald's on 25 (Dixie Highway) and was hired right there on the spot

A #stressful #Parttimemcdonalds day
Just a busy place to work.

Work Experience
31, been on SSI my whole life, not even McDonalds will hire me, ALL I WANT IS A JOB TO START GETTING WORK EXPERIENCE

I need a little bit of advice.
To start things off, McDonald's is my first and current job. The franchise I work at is next to two highways, AND a greyhound station right next door. However with all of that, I never had a problem with my job until a few weeks ago. Before I get into the problem, I want to mention that I had applied for a grocery store in my area back in November, and a manager had called me half a month after I began working. As the reasonable person I am, I politely declined the interview offer because I wished to give McDonald's a chance.
Anyways, nothing significant happened until one of the more experienced managers had a dispute with the owners of the franchise and quit, as well as a couple of other people because a new employee was being paid way more than the $9/hr max potential for new people. Since then a lot of people have failed to show up several days in a row and I'm left running drinks, fries, cleaning, restocking, and sometimes both the window and counter. It's so bad that no ones been getting breaks (except the smokers) when we need them because we have to try to restock when we can. I come home every day now feeling so physically burnt out and emotionally sick, that I've even started vomiting every now and then.
For both my health and the need of extra free time to help my parents (complete different story), I want to call food country back and ask if I can't get an interview tomorrow since it's not been 6 months when they last called me, but I'm afraid that it's too late.
I'm definitely planning to leave McDonald's btw.

What I loved working at #mcdonalds
Be able to talk to the costen

The biggest mistake I made as a #Cashier at #Mcdonalds ...
Letting my lifestyle and bad habit get in the way of my work. I should've never left or jeopardized my job.

What made me stay at #McDonalds was
It was my first corporate/ franchise management position and it was in the city of Mission Bay. I have surfed my whole life so working 11 p.m - 7 a.m allowed me to surf everyday. Our 25 team members were all great people wich made the workplace enjoyable. The customers were super nice I only had a 1 complaint the whole time i workded there. I learned a lot about how to manage people and motivate individuals that were only gettin 15 - 20 hours Week at minimum wage. By implementing a merit system in wich the top 3 employees a week would get the extra couple hours. (instead of just making the schedual) (he lobby is closed and we would do average 100 a night so I cleaned that place absolutely spotless to the point were nobody wanted to be the person to dirty anything so. Once people started caring adout the cleanliness it just raised the pride level to were now the team were doing there best and with the hours up for grabs there was healthy competition that kept the level of workmanship up. I had a great time working there.
