Legitimate

In my search, I am finding that once was regarded as "high professional stock " has been traded in for high school diplomas and low employer loyalty. However, I have chosen to look on the brighter side of things like:

  1. What is the driving force behind these hiring managers decision making processes;
  2. Why is society seeming to only bend towards a high school diploma and to years of what experience
  3. How do I become more agile in what definitely appears to be a paradigm shift

The only thing I could deduct is that American society, as a whole no longer places the same values on what was one the standard and considerations of what made a qualified and essential employee.

So, I have taken experience off, lighten up my tone, more flexible with HOPES that the employer and team I seek is right there around the corner waiting to accept all the experience, education, and exposure I bring to the table.

Remaining hopeful with you! ❤

The fundamental disconnect in modern employment

Reid Hoffman LinkedIn CEO, says that there is "fundamental disconnect in modern employment – where companies expect commitment without offering security, and employees say they are loyal but leave when a better opportunity arises".

The solution according to Hoffman, instead of speaking about loyalty, we should define employment as a "call for duty" - where employee are expected to add value, while building their career before moving to the next thing.
