The CEO #Ihop should
Fix central unit broken (cooks sweat on food served), Fix plumbing problems (sewage inhalation), fix roof leaks (pouring water out vents and over grill. Make it a safe and healty environment to work. Would like my job,back after problems is fixed. 8 years employed with ihop until becoming seriously ill. Also magets under booths near bathroom and Black Mold threw our BOH. Remolded several months ago with no regards to problems. Board Of health keeps passing their inspections knowing issues, Manager said I quit due to extensive time off with doctors paper. Plumbing is so bad it smell like working in a full portta potty on a hot summer's day. The elderly may not realize the serious germs in air due to management neglect. Employees was threaten with repercussions if talked about to customers. No a/c on restroom side is extremely hot on warm days.. Also there is hundreds of tiny feces flies on restroom side of restaurant. Understand I loved my job and my fellow employees (when building was a safe environment) I am good at my job, I am a hard worker. Management is concerned about petty issues instead of building. Ihop is losing about of good employees due to management. Example: no a/c so customers sweating fanning with menu' s so customers request water which brings drink percent down, so punishment is having to hostess in stead of serving. Also pay dropped from $2.15 to $1.80 an hour. So you determine how we should continue to smile with all these issues. I and many personally talked to Board of Health and their repeated response is IHOP IS ON NOTICE! NO ONE WILL HELP CHANGE BECAUSE CUSTOMERS CONTINUE TO EAT THERE, THEN COMPLAIN AND NO TIP. YOU WANT BUSINESS UP AND A GREAT STAFF "FIX YOUR RESTAURANT" THEN GET BACK YOUR GREAT, HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES. WE MAKE THE CUSTOMERS RETURN.
