Delivery Helpers Wanted!
Best Buy's Geek Squad Home Delivery is hiring FT/PT Delivery Driver Helpers - (DOT-HUB Cadet).
Job responsibilities include:
- Assist Driver in all aspects involved with Client deliveries , (delivery, product set-ups and haul away.)
- Assist Delivery Driver in determining best delivery method including remove and re-install doors if necessary.
- Assist Delivery Driver in moving products safely into the home and unboxing and setting up products. Endure products are functioning properly.
- Completes paperwork and obtains Client signature for proof of delivery.
- Manages inventory and vehicle maintenance.

Wow! It has been quite a long time since I worked for Best Buy as the Geek squad DCI. I started working at Best Buy Geek Squad part time in order to increase my income. At first the job seemed to be good. We had a really great store manager (Tim) that I believe truly cared about the store and the employees.
Shortly after starting with Geek Squad I was promoted to DCI. One day I came to work to discover that Tim had left and another managerial staff was installed. This is when things took a turn for the worse. The over all culture of the store turned from highly professional to downright unbelievable.
The newly installed managerial staff was young, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, however in this case the shear immaturity and immense cruelty that they gleefully visited upon staff members was nothing short of torture and in some cases, I feel, down right illegal. I was witness to behaviors that I never want to be exposed to again.

After graduating from Penn Highlands I applied for a job , Geek Squad. I was granted an interview and thought I did very well. Someone who did not do as well in school was given a job and I wasn't. I consistently made the deans list and was told by my teachers I was very good, one of the best in the class and could use them for reference. Do I have to have "connections to get a job there?
