You determine your happiness at any job. People at the job determine if your going to make it work or walk away. There is a senior manager trying to sleep with everyone...you would think he would not seeing as he has 7 kids and 4 baby mothers. I guess they use quid or quo for advantages. I love what I do and do it very well!!!!

What is the most challenging part about working for FedEx?

For me, I worked as a package handler and also it was my first time working for FedEx it was difficult for me because I had to lifted up heavy boxes, but the people were respectful and also flexible schedule.

Working for FedEx Ground wasn't bad until peak season started. During this time, you're extremely overwhelmed, overworked and exhausted. The hours that you're scheduled gives you absolutely no time to do anything that is of your personal business. They give you certain work hours and when it's time for you go, the supervisors tell you that it doesn't work that way and expect you to continue while you're too tired while they're able to conserve their energy and have random conversations with their favorites. One male supervisor constantly flirts with the young ladies and has even slept with one.

What does an average day at FedEx look like?
#fedex

I worked as both a package handler and a driver's helper. My day started at 1130 at night and we worked to about 9am, we tooked packages off the conveyer belt and then scanned and loaded them onto the proper truck. I was charged with loading five trucks and also properly entering data for every package going to the military base. Around 830am the drivers would show up and critique your loading of their trucks. After that I was usually asked by a lead driver to assist a driver who had a large load. It was fun. I'm not sure how things are now but the lead driver would give me a $100 every time I helped.
