It depends on the position. In my experience, it's the managers. They can be incredibly difficult to work for if you get the wrong one. There's a lot of pressure from management and because of that, it can be a difficult environment to work in.

For me it was the darkness and weather changes during shift changes

I didn't work as a package handler so can't comment on that but I did work for Fedex Freight as a truck driver for 11 years and the biggest problem is that the corporation is so large that you become just a number to them.

Well it is job that your body definitely has to adapt to especially if your my age but I'm sure if your young you should be ok with it then there is the heat when it's summer time its horrible in there and the winter is no better cause then it's really cold its an easy job to get you just have to be sure it's something you can physically handle and I do believe they don't pay enough for the work that is required and expected of you. Good luck
It takes time to get used to moving around lifting boxes putting on a cart. They expect you to to do 30 boxes a minute. Which most of us can do but the bigger challenge is the big boxes that weighs least 50 to 60 pounds. And more. But the best part is I work for them for three years when I started I was 315 pounds now I’m 220 pounds Now I’m a switcher. the other hard part is get some sleep 😴 Because I work in a graveyard shift. From 10 PM sometimes to 10 AM. It’s hard get some sleep If you have kids
