Learning something new may not be at the top of everyone's list of things to do but I highly encourage you to do so. I am most proud of recently learning how to use the VLOOKUP function in excel. I had heard about it and had even seen it used but I never knew how to use it until recently. Now that I have became proficient at it I can now (and have) trained others on how to use it. Keep in mind I did buy a book to get me started. I figured I am worth the investment, right?
I tell you this story because I think we become so focused on what we don't have instead of what we do have. I have the ability to keep learning and that is what I intend to do.
Please share, what is the last thing you've learned and have been able to apply to your profession?
