The biggest mistake I made as a #Cashier at #OnTargetStaffing ...

My biggest mistake that I made while working was shutting the cash drawer to fast had to call the manager to open the drawer and give customer his or her change, of course and I got it together, I can only say experience was my best teacher, we all make mistakes that only way we will learn.

Feels not right

Hi everyone. I used to work at 'abc' gas station for about 8 years. I loved my job very much. 2 months ago I had to move out of state so I had to look for another job.. I finally got one , and its at a gas station, so I was really happy. I love, love my new job, BUT, at this new place you are required to ask every one of your customers if they would like to please donate their change to 'United Cerebral Palsy'. Its part of your job and if you don't ask you will get written up... My problem is: I hate it very much when other cashiers ask me if I would like to donate my change, in fact I hate it so much I refuse to go to those stores ever again. There are some customers that also don't like it when you ask them by the look and expression on their face.. Any advice?

My boss is one of the best bosses I've had. He is willing to help ANYONE if he can. My work place is more like family.

Should I just give up?

My job is NOT GOING WELL!!! My boss is constantly watching me all the time and sometimes she is like right on top of me! My job isn’t hard or anything I am a cashier but it’s making me so nervous!! Should I tell her to back off?

About my last job

My last position was a bit new to me. Working in Best Buy was a big store where even I, as a Cashier get asked questions frequently. Things i didnt know or understand, i taught myself. No training. I'll take the initiative to teach myself. I dont wait for others.

My advice to people interested in working at #Walmart as a #Cashier/SelfCheckOutHost ...

Go to the Walmart job site to see if you're interested in any opportunities. Don't hesitate to apply. Many people join Walmart with no retail experience. Next thing you know, you're the most experienced person there!
