Getting a job at 58 years young
I have had a multitude of jobs, owned three businesses and have a vast wealth of experience and skills. My longest amount of time at one job was two and a half years and yet I’ve never been fired in my life. I have ADD and that has manifested itself as always wanting/ needing new experiences and non repetitive, monotonous jobs… just to make a buck. All that said, I don’t just quit a job with those attributes, I take the job and move quickly into management. The longest I have worked at any entry level position is 3 months and was then promoted. The problem with this and what it looks like on my resume is that I’m not fulfilled or satisfied with most of the jobs that I’ve had. I’m finding that most employers look for stability, consistency and for someone who just does what they are told, day after day after year after decade… Not Me at all~ Thoughts, feelings, criticism, feedback?

I passed my road test this afternoon. I got in line at the licensing area, and I applied for a probationary auto license.
I am excited to be driving in the state of New Jersey. I'm waiting to get my license upgrade in the mail in two weeks. I love the feeling of being in the driver's seat of a student vehicle. Once I get my license upgrade in the mail I can drive on my own.
