What do I do?
I’m currently at a work place where I’m physically and mentally overworked at a dead end job. I expressed about going to another department for better pay, but because I’m not putting the effort “mentally” while I’m “physically” there, when I ha a few mistakes like everyone else does in the work place, I’m told I’m not a good worker and I’m not good enough even if another position was open. I make $12.50 an hour as a part-timer (no full-time availability) and all of my bills go to my car which I barely make enough to make the repairs and give myself a full 3 meal a day. For the next few weeks I’ll be living off of $1 bread and $1 Arizona tea for my everyday meal. I also have a dog to take care of who is my emotional support and I have disabilities physically and mentally. I would like to work at a remote job that I can easily learn and do while being somewhere that has WiFi. I want to own my ownplace again since I’m temporarily living with a relative since I’ve been homeless for more than 2 years now. I also applied for SSI and despite me being qualified, I was denied due to my age. And the fact that I couldn’t find a lawyer when all 3 lawyers I went to denied taking my case due to my age is well, I lost 20K worth of backpay. What kind of jobs should I look for so I can get out of this dead end job? #jobsearch #advice #unemployment #workfromhome #ageism
