The companies do not necessarily have to be in Tennessee just as long as they offer remote work #workfromhome #jobsearch #remote #freelance # #advice #application
@Sarah Bailey If you land a remote job and they don’t offer the equipment, I recommend going to Best Buy or another company that will finance you. You should be able to get what you need that way. I also suggest that you don’t admit that you don’t have the equipment to do the job. Good luck! 🍀
@Sarah Bailey Hello Sarah, do you have any remote work experience? Sometimes 1,000’s of applicants can show interest in one role so it will be difficult without some experience, however, it’s not impossible. There are companies that provide equipment as well. First, you’ll want to ensure you have an Applicant Tracking System compliant resume to give yourself the best chance of being noticed. Next try utilizing an internet search or the Jobcase job board I’ve known many that have had much success with this. Finally, aim to shoot out at least five resumes per day or 25 per week. My method isn’t fool proof but with it you should be able to at least lock down an interview. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏼
Yes, there are many companies that offer remote work opportunities in Tennessee and beyond. Some of these companies provide the necessary equipment for remote work as well. To find these opportunities, I recommend checking out popular job search platforms like Jobcase, Indeed, LinkedIn, and FlexJobs. These websites have filters to specify remote work and often indicate if the company provides equipment.
Hi @Sarah Bailey -
Some companies hire employees - the company supplies everything and takes out taxes
Other companies use independent contractors - the worker supplies everything and pays their own taxes
I do both and have never had an issue with my Windows computer system being compatible with any company's software or set-up - Many companies use cloud-based apps.
Yes, I do have wfh experience. Less than a year but I have worked with the public for 13yrs. Dealt with almost every situation you can think of and had an apprentice every year for at least 6yrs of the 13. I ask about the equipment because there have been places that wanted me to start immediately and how do you begin working if you are not already equipped with their specific equipment. Is there a way around that or certain pieces of equipment that will integrate into almost any company?
Hey @Sarah Bailey, welcome to Jobcase community. I'm not sure which job provides equipment for work-from-home, but I listed remote job opportunities for you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Good luck.
