I’ve been looking for a job for about 6 months I’ve applied to almost every position Yao have and still haven’t gotten a job. They contact me wanting to set up an interview, so we set it up but it’s like as soon as they see me in person they change their minds on hiring me. It’s very discouraging. Can someone give me some tips on what I can do to get hired?!?!? #jobsearch #advice # #interview #followup #wordsofadvice

Be well-groomed and dressed in neat, clean clothing appropriate for the job. It is OK to ask about dress code with the recruiter, then you can Google if need be. Be prepared to answer questions about your work history, your strengths and skills, why you would be good at the job you are seeking. Learn about the Company you are applying to, look them up on web is usually possible . That shows interest, you want to work for THEM. Have a few questions for the interviewer but DO NOT ask about wage/salary. They will assume money is all you are about. DO NOT ASK. ABOUT MONEY. It is against the law for them to ask if you are married, pregnant, have children or intend to have children. Google was a good source of sample interview questions, advice and even explanations of dress codes, for example Google " business professional" will tell you men should wear dress shoes rather than a pair of deck shoes or sneakers. So be on time, clean/well-groomed in clean clothing.Be polite, don't smoke or chew gum. Seriously, you will feel much more ready if you check out Google for sample questions and other stuff to expect. Lots of advice out there. Don't ask about money in the interview, and follow up within a day with an email or message ( e mail usually preferred) thanking the interviewer for their time, mention something you discussed if possible for them to remember you. good luck!

A lot of times that we think a job is for us that is not what the man above has for us if you’ve been turned down just trust the process and know that the man above has something better in store for you. Pray on it and trust something big is going to happen for you. Good luck

Perhaps it is an appearance issue? Perhaps not. Do you show Piercings? Tatoos? Unshaven face stubble

How do you feel during the interview? Is it an interesting conversation or a back and forth question with too short or too long answers? Do you leave feeling upbeat because you really connected with them? These are clues to help. Final tips: Do thorough investigation of the company so you can speak to how your goals and their mission align. Also, your attitude is everything- employers want candidates who are upbeat, professional, coachable and who never ever make excuses for past bad behavior or performance. Learn to speak about what you’ve learned and how it will make you a superstar employee going forward!

First, try and forget about all the rejection and why the rejection. 2nd, remind yourself who you are, and where you're headed. Fix your face, stand up straight and say out-loud!! (I Got This!!) Step out on Faith, and know that someone is going to say yes, you'll be a nice fit for our company! Great Luck!

after reviewing your resume you might want to hire a top resume writer. your resume speaks no value but a lot of jobs you worked. it looks like a lot of losses to the interviewer and trust me they want someone who will fit the role and can learn fast and none of your jobs you worked shows that. there is a difference between a interview and a job offer response. interviews only equate a chance to show why they should hire you. if you look well dressed than looks is the least problem. more has to do with confidence and what you say that will get the employer attention.

It’s ok to ask the person interviewing you what you can do to improve on future interviews. They are usually great with feedback.

They're making it impossible to get a Job via Jobcase! We've become Numbers in an algorithm of deception and Corporate discrimination. Where has The " Human" Resource Departments gone? 🤔 WONDERING

Have you dressed appropriately (well groomed, business style) for the job interview, including your hairstyle and makeup? Do you speak in slang or with respect for the situation and attendees? Do you come on loud, withdrawn, bragging, sullen, angry, or superior, rather than interested and pleasant? It requires a brutally honest and thorough look at ourselves to admit what we've done that's inappropriate at a job interview, and then change it. Good luck, and I know you'll ace the next one.
Dress for success, always and believe in yourself, show confidence.
