I think it's very important. I always make time to do that. It's good to let them hear from you one more time.

Not always sometimes I can't remember all the people I met during a job fair. I need to write names down, but I know I should!!

Absolutely! Best thing to do. Send a short and sweet recapping what went on during the interview and to follow up or reiterate your qualifications. Also thank them for their time for speaking with you. This should also be said at the end of the meeting to let know you are appreciative for their time spent.

I think it is. especially if you are one of the first people they interviewed and if you know when they are interviewing the last person, the you can get them thinking about you again. maybe its just the people that ive interviewed with, but they usually tell me when they are going to be done interviewing. especially if they are in a hurry to hire someone. but maybe dont listen to me..I'm unemployed and not having any luck. Maybe they dont like follow up. ive always been told by recruiters, follow up. It shows your interested . well good luck and if anything i hope my response wascat least entertaining lol.

I always send a hand written thank you on note cards such as Crane or Papyrus. I have had recruiters and HR people call and tell me how much they appreciated me taking the time--that they thought those things were a lost art. Just wrote and sent 3 today for a late interview yesterday.

I think you need to followup after an interview esp because you want to say thanks for their time.
