WHEN WILL THEY GET BACK TO ME???

I was checking out at Walmart, and just before I left I asked a ginger-headed girl, "Do you know if Walmart is hiring?" She hesitated, and replied, "I'm not sure. I think we are, but if we are, and you want to apply here, keep filling out your application to keep yourself at the top of the list. There's usually like a slim amount of people that get hired here. So the manager will take in a HUGE group of people and put them to work, and then it starts all over again the next day." I just filled out. . . 3-4 applications with different positions added to my requested positions, but I'm not sure if the manager will make the call to me any time soon. What should I do next? Wait? #walmart #advice #interview #hired #jobsearch

Every week you should go in and ask to speak to the manager, be well dressed and have a good attitude, after about 2 or 3 weeks the manager is going to know you're serious, just remember to be pleasant, and remember that your attitude determines your altitude! Good luck!

Wall Mart always is hiring. It's a matter of if you can pass the psychology questionaire. Yes go in person, look nice, bug the management team and/or human resources until they give you a clear yes or no. If yes, congratulations, now be ready to multitask at least 5 jobs at once and be put on a timer for each task assignment. I've been there, done that, got the vest and back pain to prove it. Good luck.

Go back in, show your face, ask about the status of your application, ask to speak to a team lead and ask if they pulled your application. That's what I did and five minutes later I got an invite to schedule an interview. After they interview you they send any correspondence through your Workday application profile, including job offers. Make sure all your information is correct. If you want to work there you really have to be proactive.

I would keep following up on your applications @Stormfrost ....! Just give them a call in a few days and let them know you recently applied! They'll appreciate your dedication and hopefully see what a creative, hard worker you are! šŸ¤šŸ’š
