Try a different approach. If you are seeking jobs nearby, that means you can go in and introduce yourself. But before you do that, take an honest look at yourself! Are you dressing the part (hair groomed, business attire, no bling)? Have you practiced an introduction script for yourself? Can you describe what skills you bring to the table? Even though you don’t have any work experience, there might be things about your personality that are attractive to an employer like the following: “I’m a quick learner, I’m motivated, I want to make a contribution to a great company, I’m a team player, I’m reliable, I just need a chance!” Include any accomplishments that you are proud of in school. When you go to meet a prospective employer face to face, you will stand out amongst the hundreds of resumes they receive. If you get the chance, make sure you exceed expectations and always do your very best. Also, remember, you can learn from any job. So learn as much as you can because it could be a stepping stone to a better position later.

Expect 100 applications for each job offer. Sometimes a job offer comes more or less frequently. It also depends on the job desired. I wish you all the best in your search. Three applications per day is your job until you get one.

I have to be honest, when I read this post I said "here we go again", referring to @Swift hawk recent post. This one is a bit different because your attitude seems like you've already accepted defeat. You can continue calling and waiting by the phone, or you can put in some effort by doing what myself and others in this community advise. And remember that your attitude determines your altitude! Finding a job is like a salesperson. You go through lots of no’s before you get the yes. It’s all in the numbers. And you have to market yourself as someone of worth. Someone you will hire. If you have no experience, that’s ok. Your still worth something. Your willingness to learn something new is always on the table. Good luck. The one thing that works for me is a lot of prayers.

@Joseph Cima is right. You have to be persistent and look and apply everyday. Go to the place, looking professional, speak to a manager politely and ask if they have a job.

Look for construction sites around your area new construction remodeling whatever I use to do it when I was s kid those framing crews are always looking for a good labor and right attitude they will train you bust your ass but you can make good money and most of them no how it is and will give you rides just a thought

@Jay Jackson there's a ton of great advice already here from the Jobcase community! It's super helpful to read through all of this and I agree with so much. I would just say to keep being persistent in the search. It looks like you have the work ethic and the drive to find the job, maybe just tweak the approach a bit but keep up the effort. Maybe there are other types of jobs out there that you're not thinking of at the moment, maybe even ways to make money working remotely. I would definitely recommend stoping by (in a very professional way) to some of the places to check in and see if there's any updates and moving forward, maybe trying to apply onsite with them if that's an option. It can be hard trust me ive been looking for a job all year and even if i have experience i still dont get answers or even interviews. It gets hard but if you are being very persistent im sure you will find something very soon.

most companies do hiring process online. and i am sure even if you go in person to talk to a employer they will tell you the same thing to fill out a application. interviews don't happen like that anymore because companies now use ats tracking system.

I would suggest applying online to some of your local retailers. Most places look at the online applications more because they don't always have time for calls.
