Gig Work

I have been a Uber part-time driver for a little over a year now. Personally, I really enjoy it with the good and the bad riders. Its been way more good than bad. Anyway, I considering going Full time so I called Uber support team for some answers but none was provided. So I'm reaching out to the Group to help out.

What is your average weekly income and how many hours do you work (8, 10, or 12 hours a day)? How many days a week are you working? What do you have are the best hours to start your day?

I've heard a lot of bad things about Uber and how they treat drivers, but I could really use the money and flexible work environment. Should I try driving for them?

Looking for a job

After being involved in accident earlier this year, I'm finding it hard to get back on road as an Uber Partner. I had inquire about leasing/rental of vehicle, which seems to be unavailable. I had ask ed Uber for assistance, but still I'm without a vehicle, what can I do?.Although body was repaired AllState refused to repair engine problem, said it was not caused by accident.

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

People don't know I drive every day all day long, sometimes I sleep sometimes I don't. Don't tell anyone. I know you're posting this. That's ok. (Laughs) I have candy and water because it makes passengers happy and it's fun for us both. #WorkingInAmerica

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

I love my work because I make money. Good money that's why I like my work.

Has anyone done food deliveries yet? How much do deliveries pay? Are customers the same quality as riders or less? Is it worth the effort? Any feedback would be appreciated
