Gig Work

Driving locals in SF is always very interesting. My riders were architectural enthusiasts and were acting as my tour guides. I had my navigation on as usual and it suggested taking a slightly different route than they were used to taking. They agreed to follow the route and were very pleased to discover new treasures right in there own backyard. It was an adventure for all of us. #MyDrives

One one memorable experiences not enough every single time I get in my truck and take someone somewhere or if I were to win this car again taken somewhere in a vehicle it brings so much pride to me to take people home my step father used to have a real drinking problem I always promised myself if I could get a job that I could help people get home safely have some family daughter get home safely their son from the airport get home safely whatever whoever but always believed in Safety First getting people home and that's my job that's what I do in life have 11 grandkids 16 children total and I only made 3 I inherited the rest so that's why I work for Uber because it helps me but I really could use this vehicle so I hope I win thank you Robert Agnew Norman Oklahoma Oklahoma 73069 #MyDrives

Took uber xl to school and the car was very luxurious but turned out to be very expensive to switched to uber x #MyDrives

I had a Buddhist monk coming home from prayer and he ran out of gas in his car. I picked him up and he just needed a ride to the station to purchase a gas can and fuel. We returned to his car and I assisted him with putting the fuel in his car and bid him a good evening. Very cool customer! #MyDrives

Yet to have even one trip to rememder, but I would love the opportunity to tell my story here #MyDrives

Una tarde recogi a unos turistas que iban desde el Viejo San Juan hasta su hotel. Ellos llevaban 2 semanas vacacionando en la isla. Durante el viaje comenzamos a conversar sobre su experiencia en Puerto Rico. Su respuesta fue muy positiva, pero pude notar que solo se limitaron a visitar las areas turisticas de la capital. En ese momento les comence a hablar sobre las maravillas naturales que existen en toda la isla. Ellos quedaron impresionados, pues con mi celular comence a mostrarles fotos y lugares de interes que no son muy promocionados. Pues son tesoros escondidos de nuestra isla. Ellos quedaron impresionados y lamantaron el no haberme conocido antes, pues regresaban a su pais al proximo dia. Quedaron tan encantados con su viaje con Uber, tambien con mi amabilidad y conocimiento de la isla. Que prometieron regresar a la isla para conocer todos sus tesoros escondidos. Esta experiencia me hizo sentir que mi labor en Uber no solo se limita a transportar personas de un punto a otro, sino que me permite hablar sobre los hermosos tesoros naturales y culturales de mi pais, me siento orgulloso de ser boricua y poder poner el nombre de mi isla en alto. Y todo esto lo he podido hacer gracias a la oportunidad que me permite Uber de ser un conductor de su maravillosa empresa. #MyDrives

AL though I live in Grand Rapids and not far from where my grandmother use to live I have not been on that Street in years well I got a request for a ride on her Street and I recognize that address right away and when I arrived the memories just came back out of nowhere all the memories of playing hide an Shrek and playing card at the deadend of the street so many great memories happen on that Street. And to think it just took one Uber request to take me back to when I remember all the good old days. #MyDrives

Late one night around 3am bars already let out, surge was over I needed to gas up and pee really bad! then a call came in I actually. Picked a bar maiden that just finished for the night and gas light just came on knowing my ride I knew I was good for about. 30 miles, gps was 22mi to her house figured I just get gas and pee after I dropped her, well then as we closer to her house which seemed like an eternity cause of needing to pee every gas station we passed was closed I was starting get worried like how far I gotta go to find a gas station, I asked her she the station down the street keeps the pumps on so you pay with credit but this the weekend when the wifey needs my card and I only have cash, so start freaking cause the gas gauge is dropping faster then the prom queen's panties and I'm 30 min away from home in the middle of the night, finally drop her off. Get the hunt on clicking on eco mode and praying to God for miracle, gps closest station was at another 6miles, went by station all lite up got out begging to open they were closed I screamed well turn off your Damn lights, frantically got back the car another 2 miles and found an opened gas station finally, ran inside to the bathroom pee so hard relieving almost orgasmic took my breathe away,but there was a plus side cause only had like $12, I prepaid but the attended messed the pump I was on and I over pumped by like $6 went to tell cashier they were cool no prob they took blame for mix up so I got $6 of gas free not to bad for all the drama before getting there! #MyDrives
