Would you do it??? My last boss was pretty awesome, so I'd totally take the vacation. My boss before that, oh hell NO!

Why not? If my last boss was good ( and yes he was wonderful guy) but if he/she was a bad, I will still take the vacation and plan activities that my boss will regret. The activities would include swimming with the sharks, bungee jumping from a high cliff, paragliding around the live volcano and riding my way to the house of Jack Nicholson.

H*ll NO! I gave them a doctor's note on February 22nd or 23rd, right after I sent them a copy of it I got an email stating I needed to come in and sign in exit form, which I refuse to do because that would have been me admitty and I quit. I sent them a message and said that if you're not putting me on the schedule your terminating me I'm not quitting, they would never return my phone calls or my text messages I filed for unemployment and it was 3 weeks prior to my year end date, so they did an interview with me and then with them and sided with me because I had my doctor's note,. Then I had to reapply because of the urine date and all of a sudden my work had proof I quit? It was just over a week later since they had done that interview and sided with me, but when I reapplied I don't think they got the copy of the doctor's note because I sent a couple pages at one time. The letter stated that they provided proof I quit and I didn't provide proof that I didn't quit. So I had to appeal the case and I'm still waiting on my court date. And what sad is I had been with the company for almost 10 years and they did that to me. so I won't even give them the shirt off my back anymore.

Last job or current job?

Current job absolutely, 100%, I actually like spending time with them be it house manager or program manager.

I realized how lucky I was to not only like what I do, but when I saw the program manager's car I thought it was nice.

Previous job? Nope nope nope nope nope. Lied to the company, lied to me and got me fired and then tried to refuse me unemployment. I had a recording of her lying to me about the reason so when unemployment called me saying the lies she told the higher ups I got it, no problem.

But it was also a "right to work" state, so she really could have just fired me with no reason.

The vacation is a much shorter time than working daily with your boss. Might as well do something more fun with that allotted time.
