I’m here to provide encouragement and wisdom that has elevated me.

Are you thinking "I have no clue how to get out of this terrible situation!!!" ?

If you feel like the statement above is true for you, I want to encourage you to water your seed of hope. WAIT WAIT, I'm not encouraging hope in some airy fairy mystical way but as the means to take more power action steps. When you are stuck in the mud you can't just stroll out of the mud you have to explode out of the rut. **Hope /hōp/

  1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

Hope can ensure your very next tiny step is successful and thus give you a path toward a new direction. I know you may be in a dark place and maybe 2020 hasn't been your best year, but don't give up. Try this Step 1- Identify a problem you are facing right now. Next think of one action step you can take right now to help "start" to chop down this problem tree. Think of one thing to take action on to put a dent in the problem tree that is shading your view of the bright future. Think about one action step that will no doubt help, remembering it takes many swings to chop a tree down. After you have determined the small action step to take TODAY. Convince yourself it will help a little to solve your problem, just a little. Also convince yourself this action is worth your time. Stay on this step until you have succeeded in convincing yourself. (this could take some time)

After and never before you have achieved step 1 take the action without distraction and with full attention and focus, Step 2. Try to make this an impeccable action step, flawless in how you went about it. Know it is not so much what you do, but how you do it that will make this action successful. If you have completed step 1 and 2 repeat these steps tomorrow.

It is possible your inner vision is overwhelmed with your situation and you can't see outside the circumstance, so If you have no clue what action to take right now, Please use the comments to ask the community "what action would help me in this situation", then decide if some response works for you.

Self employed

I feel like I'm in a rut job wise. I'm looking for something more exciting and that it pays better too. My husband keeps telling me that even though I don't have a college degree, I have a lot to offer. So to someone like me that's no spring chicken but wants to work, don't give up.

That is a really powerful post. It’s funny how I took hope for granted while people tell me to be hopeful. Maybe I have been in the dark and out of reality. It seems like reality is better. I feel sorry for the registered nurse from the ER who passed away from coronavirus. It’s no fair that our good young people are dying. Being in the horrible reality makes people cautious, aware and seeing reality gets people to cooperate so that there’s less reasons to be afraid.

Hey @Jason Roberson , this message hits home for so many of our members who've been struggling to keep their head above water throughout this incredibly challenging year.

Uncertainty seems to be the biggest concern as unemployment claims continue to drag on for weeks and months with no resolution.

A much needed 2nd stimulus is no where in sight as we brace for a possible 2nd wave of a COVID-19 outbreak.

The light at the end of the tunnel is a little blurry right now. Hope driven Action is a good strategy to help us see our way out of these unprecedented circumstances.

Thanks for taking the time to share this much needed message of HOPE with the community this week. Stay Well!
