Reassigned on the job and want to share your story?
I work with the Jobcase public relations team and we have a reporter from The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) doing a story around workers who recently had a functional shift or job change due to Coronavirus—either within companies or across companies. For example, janitors who normally clean office buildings now assigned to clean nursing homes; bank tellers now assigned to call centers.
This would likely be a minimal time investment--perhaps a 15-minute call with WSJ, or whatever you can offer. If interested please share your location, occupation and a brief overview of your story. Just want a job 15+/hr would be great but I will take anything right now
I was blackballed and scapegoated by a CEO whose company is hemorrhaging money due to his poor financial decisions. At times the confusion, lies, and simple injustice of all drives me to a very dark place. What has helped me is doing everything I can to use this experience to grow and begin a new, and hopefully brighter, career path. This experience has also shown me the importance of pulling close to loved ones as we unemployed try to weather this storm. I'm sincerely trying to use this unfortunate experience as a springboard to obtain a better job with superior work/life balance (prior to being terminated I was working 90+ hour weeks).

I am currently unemployed. I did my taxes last year, but not yet this year. Does anyone know how long it takes for the $$ to get to us? My family is hurting!
