I'm a 40 year old professional going back to school for computer science. I'd love to work for a company that would allow me to learn and grow within this industry while going to school and continuing toward my bachelors degree in computer technology/science. # #jobsearch #computerscience #informationtechnology #hiring #interview #workfromhome

There are a lot of companies that offer about 5250 per annum in tuition reimbursement. Anything more and you're legally required to pay taxes on that "income". It will depend greatly on the area of the country you're in though. In DC and it's metropolitan area.. it was pretty much the standard. Out here in Kansas, I'm not seeing it so much...
Now some school systems (especially at universities) will cover tuition at the school for full time employees, and sometimes their kids.

do not go to amazon u have to apply for a certain school before they pay it has to be 1 of their schools listed

No offense, but coding is kind of dead. You're competing against Berkley grads and we're in a recession. Here's some advice from the smartest man I know: Sheep are the dumbest creatures alive. You get a degree from a school "sponsored" by these tech giants or worse yet -- created by them. You know the creator of SAP media college is a Billionaire because he sold a 50% equity stake to BlackRock? Tesla has dipped into the red they had to leverage debt and so did FB. They leveraged debt to perform a multibillion dollar stock buyback. It's basic -- realistic -- economics which is something that's not taught these days. Tech layoffs across the board. Just get a cert and save the 4 year degree. Don't go into debt for a degree, that's just dumb. You can make 50k working at Verizon doing sales for 20$ an hour -- 800$ a week 52 weeks a year is roughly 48k if you get a bonus you'll get more. Tech is the least stable career path -- DBAs, Admin, IT get laid off when times get tough. The degree means nothing in the face of experience to these companies and you're going to be screwing yourself if you hop in thinking a degree will do jack shxt.

That's a good question. I believe most companies that do that might require you work sometime, full time for them and study towards something of their interest. Military, Navy ( however we aren't of age.

Amazon has 100% reimbursement, no upfront costs either. Select the college and course work, supplies needed and submit to them. They'll issue a voucher to pay for it. Once you graduate you move on. No requirements to stay on after graduation. This kicks in after 3 months of being full time

Sedgwick does. They are a TPA. My wife works there and got her masters while working there. They paid for her degree. In full. Granted she did do an online program, though is was an online school attached to major state university.

The State of Illinois pays for your tuition directly to the institution if you are a current employee enrolled in the Upward Mobility Program.

That's horrible. I do understand completely going through just about the same thing. I just believe there is something better for you someplace. Karma will take care of them.

I see lots of companies like Amazon and UnitedHealth group offer tuition reimbursement program. Definitely check those out. Another way to consider is to look at jobs at the local colleges and you will get major discount to take classes as a staff member.
