Since there are so many sales entry points operating simultaneously, including online and drive through, you have to be on your toes. One order can become 10 orders in a matter of seconds. Also, anticipating the rush periods based on history and having product ready is key. Cross training is critical to success. You never know when you are going to get a big ice cream rush in the middle of happy hour or a school bus show up and order 100 coneys.

Dealing with it public and having patients with your coworkers and speed got to be fast if you work at Sonic drive-in. Great place to work though.
