Many employers use staffing companies to either assist them in hiring or some employers even completely outsource all hiring to staffing companies - but what makes a great staffing company?

In my role, I create partnerships with staffing companies to help them bring their jobs to the Jobcase community so I thought what better way to gain insight on a few things I've been thinking about than to go directly to the Jobcase community!

1 - Who is the best staffing company you've ever worked with? I want to be sure we are creating partnerships with these companies.

2 - What makes a staffing company great? As I'm speaking with these companies, often questions come up around how they can become better and what are employees looking for.

3 - How do you best leverage staffing companies in your job search?

3 - I have utilized many recruiters in my job searches in the past. I think they are EXTREMELY helpful and cut out a lot of the guess work when it comes to applying for roles. They can assist in many ways including helping with interview prep, negotiating salary, and connecting with the employers throughout the process. Question for you - what are these recruiting companies considered Staffing companies? Ex. of one I like is FRG Consulting - how would this be classified?

2 - When I worked for a small local staffing company, we prided ourselves on paying for that week's hours at the end of the week - you'd call in your hours on Friday morning and pick up your check Friday afternoon, and we'd fix it right there if (even after our triple-checking) it was wrong. Our flexibility and fast payment made a big difference for my temp-worker colleagues.

Laura Turner when someone reaches out to you, how do you know it is a staffing company recruiter as opposed to an employer recruiter? How is the hire process different for candidates?
