Eager to get started with working from home

In an interview when the interviewer asks for a method I have used to navigate a new computer program, what kind of answer are they looking for? I cant figure out another way to say that I find information about the program online and I go through everything to see what it does. That does no sound professional to me but it is what I do. Is there even another method? The question took me off guard because I thought that is just how everyone figures out a new program, aside from people who do it themselves without looking anything up. #interview #advice #interviewprep #jobsearch #wordsofadvice

Always tell the interviewer that you’ll follow proper policy and procedure according to company standards and will ask for guidance on anything that’s unfamiliar as well as research as much as you can during your off time to become better efficient at your role to better use all tools provided to complete daily task

Words come naturally to me since I am a journalism major, but in an interview I might have drawn a blank too. I hate job interviews!!!!

Perhaps the answer they are looking for is "trial and error"? Or you could just say, "online research".
