Administrative Professional

Administrative work is very much about handling behind the scenes operations and being extremely keen on detail; noticing things that others don’t, being even nit picky about making sure everything is running smoothly. You need to have exceptional independent problem solving skills in which you can put out fires on your own. Be able to organize and re-arrange calendars without making anyone’s day more complicated. Understand and manage data with again, keen attention to detail. People very much rely on you to make their jobs easier without coming to them. While a degree helps in regards to the information, you need to have the behavior, intelligence and personality for it first and foremost. Education in regards to a day to day experience in administrative work will only get you so far. If you aren’t a multi-tasking, overly organized, proactive problem solver and attention to detail mind, it just won’t work out.
