Is Empathy Nature or Nuture?

I grew up in a very volatile environment. I had 3 siblings with diverse characteristics and personalities. Out of all of us, I “stepped up” when things got tough after my father left our home. We were instantly poor. Growing up fast and raising my siblings, I chose “caregiving” and worked in geriatrics. Watching that group of people at an “end of life” stage, I believe aided my ability to “ put myself into other’s shoes.” Is it an” in-built belief system that I am the only child of 3 who did not chose crime & drugs or was it my exposure to a job in long-term care that helped me to choose a life of considering others? What are your thoughts? Is it nature or nurture?

Feeling used

Sometimes at work I feel like I'm doing the most and no reward. I work hard because that's all I know how to do but, you have a lot of lazy people working around me. I feel like I'm carrying everyone else's workload. I'm tired of it! I try hard not to let it get to me but it's hard. I will not give up though I'm still grateful to have a job. I passed my managers and supervisors test, I've done interviews and I've been employee of the month so I really don't know. I know I'm doing well but I guess it is what it is.#keepworkinghard #dontgiveup

I need a different job!!!

I've been working for WFS for about three years and I do not feel like I'm being treated with the respect I deserve. I am a hard worker, I get along with most of the people I've worked with in the past. I don't want to work at crazy odd hours in the morning. I would greatly enjoy any job that I am able to do thank you for reading and have a wonderful day or night

Positive work ethic

I told all trimmers they were hard working eager women co workers. They were very good at Trimming the homes we built.. they would get discouraged at time of the work load. I continued to support the entire team.
