My advice to people interested in working at #WoodforestBank as a #AssistantBranchManager ...
Be ready to work in the evenings, weekends and holidays- the branch where I worked was inside of a Walmart store and we were open 364 days a year.

The biggest mistake I made as a #AssistantBranchManager at #WoodforestBank ...
Trusting that another branch had done their due diligence with a business customer that moved to our town and we were exposed to a lot of $ in endorsement issues.

A #stressful #WoodforestBank day
On Saturdays when all other banks are closed and our lines were way long out of the branch and into the store. Seemed like a never ending line of folks needing to be waited on. Also on holidays when business customers that did not bank with us would be upset that we could not accommodate large change orders and we charged them for the service when we could accommodate.

Drama at #WoodforestBank
I remained calm and did my best to help the customer. Sometimes we just cannot give them what they want but most times a compromise can be made that is beneficial to both parties.

What I loved working at #WoodforestBank
I had a great manager.

Interview - finally!
Well I had a phone interview today with a company HR rep and they are now forwarding my information to the local manager for a face to face interview. It's nice to see something happening but now - after researching the company - reviews are not good. Starting salary is way below what I need and the work climate may or may not be the best depending on which review you read. I've read them on Glassdoor, Indeed and customer reviews on several sites - overall not great. I'm going to the interview and see what comes up and then make a decision if something is offered. My question is - anyone have any experience with Woodforest Bank?
