What I loved working at #Walgreens
Unscheduled time off

Felon friendly jobs
I have two felony and need a job what should I do I applied at Walgreens and when my background check didn't come back they said I couldn't work

Hello
Hi, I just recently put in a application, how long before you review it?

I am looking for a job that is close to home can anyone help.
I did many different jobs while employed at Walgreens . I can multi task and get my job done

They help others
Poverty hits close to home for me. I grew up very poor and when I was hungry and asked my mom for some food for dinner we sometimes ate nothing. New clothes for school? I was lucky I had them in the first place. My mom did the best she could for my brother and me. When I worked for Walgreens I liked that they ran National Red Nose Day (it's today actually) which is when we would sell those red noses that you sometimes see clowns wearing at kid's birthday parties for a dollar. Walgreens donates half the proceeds to kids in need from those sales. It helps all kinds of things like the boys and girls club and other important charities. It also gives them food. I always remember thinking I hope no kid out there has to go through what we did. I liked that Walgreens supported this. Every big business out there should. I always bought a red nose every year and I always will.

My advice to people interested in working at #Walgreens as a #Asst.mgr. ...
Be on time.work hard and stay true to helping the customers, not just selling them something.

A #stressful #Walgreens day
Yearly inventory is always stressful because ,all year(especially) holidays you work hard to achieve numbers you can be proud of.

Drama at #Walgreens
Customers get angry for a variety of reasons.if you listen it's usually a fixable situation.

I would recommend someone to work at #Walgreens because
Walgreens is a place to be if your a people person.numerous opportunitys to help people throughout the day 7days a week.and meet other great employees.

I haven't worked in the public industry for a few years because, I was caring for an elder parent that had to go into a Nursing Care facility full-time. Now I am looking to work part-time either at Walgreens or a Bank but I just need to be able to get my feet in the door does anyone have any suggestions for me
