So I’m being terminated due to vaccination status, however they just told us they don’t plan to have a formal “firing” conversation and just expect that I won’t return to work after the 30th. I have an email with the reason and last date of work but should I still show up to work on the 1st if not told by anyone I am fired?

I was completely against the vaccine, I was gonna be the wolf that saved the sheep. My main reason for not wanting to get the vaccine was when I was in the military we had to get a flu shop and I would get seriously sick. Since I've been out a considerable number of years I don't get the flu shot and I don't get sick like that anymore. My employer was offering $100 if you got the vaccine and nobody under me took them up on it cause of fear of the unknown. When I decided to get it I figured since I'm the boss I should set the example and show them its ok. I got both awhile back and didn't have any ill side affects. Im not advocating that everyone should get it but if employers mandate that you either get it or you don't have a job thats really gonna cause some stress in the work place. I believe in freedom of choice and nobody should be forced to do something they don't want to do. I think the general public for the most part is getting tired of this mask crap. We are required to wear a mask at work, some do some don't. How does other employers do? Just some food for thought.

So I’m I the only person who finds it unfair that you have to be fully vaccinated to work for certain companies? I refuse to get the vaccine only because I’ve seen some people get it and become sick. I’m already allergic to certain medications which makes my decision to go against it greater. #Vaccine #wordsofadvice
