You take the good with the bad like you would any other job. I was there many years and was greatful for my job

My experiences were good, got to learn how to operate heavy equipment, learned how to do most all jobs in the mine, obtained all papers needed to do all jobs, even went bossing for a bit. Bad part was it closed.

The physical actuvity that helped me lose weight

My advice to anyone interested in working at Delek as an InstrumentationTech is work hard, do good stuff and retire after 25 or 30 years.

The biggest mistake I made as an Instrumentation Tech was when I wrote logic to alarm the board operator when there were problems on the unit and when I tested it, it shut the unit partially down.

The most stressful day as an employee was the day that I was fired for being injured while trying to do my job.

If anyone got angry with me, I was unaware. Prior to Delek buying the plant, there were two instances when individuals were angry with me.

I felt as though Delek was interested in improving the plant, the people working there and, of course, our profitability. I was proud to tell anyone that I worked there.
