A #stressful #USNavy day
Having the man I was standing and talking with killed by a VN communist sniper. Giving first aid, having inadequate supplies and cleaning up his blood afterwards.

When I worked at #USNavy I gave great advice when
I required a sniper to let me verify any targets before firing. Later I identified his potential target as a fellow teammate in the brush. Saved a friendly fire casualty.

I would tell my best friend to work for #USNavy because
I would recommend the US Navy to my friend to gain knowledge, leadership, motivation, school credits, and to see the world. As well as work around some amazing people and new technology.

I wanted to work at #USNavy because
I have just spent the last twenty years as an active duty member. Now I'd like to be able to support the mission and sailors in other aspects. During my last 2 years I was working at Huntington Hall in downtown Newport News as a building manager and rather enjoyed the housing aspect.

Drama at #USNavy
In this situation, I determined what/who they were angry with, and did what I was able to do to remedy the situation. As long as that was possible, I then made sure that all parties concerned were clear on what the problem was, and what was done to rectify said situation. If I had either been, or contributed to the problem, I made sure to own my part in it, while soft-peddling my part in the solution.

Constant change of pace, always have something to do. And acorse the travel was great.
