I beileve the best part of the U.S. Navy is TEAMWORK!

The U.S. Navy offers a wealth benefits to new Sailors (Medical, Dental, Tution Assistance and Thift Savings Plan). The job skills learned within each job (rate) specialty are directly applicable to civilian careers beyond military service. The U.S. Navy offers unique life experiences to all qualifying personnel. If you are interested in making a positive difference in your life and our great Nation, the U.S. Navy is a highly recommended career opportunity. Teamwork makes the Dreamwork! All the best!

During Dessert Storm I was stationed at a command did all the staffing, supplying and repair for all the ships in the Gulf. I had to maintain WAN connections to our command 24/7. My command brought in Sleeping Bags and Cots and food for all meals.

Drama at #USNavy

Didn't happen in my case, we are trained in management as we are promoted, so we know our limits and boundaries for each paygrade.

Stressful day in the Navy where to start. One of the ones I remeber well was we were performing an ORSE period that's operational readiness and safety examination. I watch the 0200 to 0700 watch and had not gotten much sleep. We had drills start at 1000 and last most of the day. I was expected to fight 3 mock fires. Additionally at one point I was the main communication lead with the EOOW engineering officer of the watch and 2 plants for casualty operations. We also had a large written exam as well. I then had the 2200 to 0200 watch to end the day.
