What I loved most about the Army was learning, coaching and mentoring my peers and Soldiers. I also loved meeting new people and the exposure I received with each duty station.

The structure. And training young soldiers. I really liked traveling to other countries. Iloved serving my country there is a sence of pride about it.

Do your research before going to talk with a recruiter an if you join at the beginning of a fiscal year you increase your chances of getting a bonus for enlisting

I had to sit there and take it because someone got upset when they got yelled at for someone else's mistake but hey that's just the army

You definitely make lifelong friends.. but the terrible working conditions hours and low salary aren't worth it..

If there's no signing bonus or future career pathway after military service.. then it probably isn't worth it.

No [email protected]$ there I was. Middle East working 12 hour shifts in the desert sun under 140°F working the day shift slaving away for a measly 500$ a week.. the military kills you and will break you very slowly... The only benefit? Free college education .. other than that don't do it it's not worth the long hours terrible salary and stressful experiences.
