I have been with the postal service for 37 years. 28 years of carrying the mail before going into management. It helped me earn good wages while being a single mom I will have a good retirement once I leave within the next 2 years.

Learned all of the documentation required for tax exempt loans and municipal leases. Those included attorney documents, insurance policies, bank contracts, property liens and vendor performance bonds to name a few. Every contract was unique, each state, county, town had different requirements.

I loved my job there because I was able to help people every day.

One morning at 3am trp cmnd sgm called a health and wellness recall formation. After the search, sgm informed two soldiers the drug dog took a shit in their room and they had to go back up to clean it. True story. Lmao

#aboutmyjob I I worked at United Illuminating in a supervisory role for just over two years. I struggled to learn and there was not much training. The IT was poor and had very little support when needed. There’s very little accountability from the Union employees at United Illuminating, All the responsibility is put on supervision, this makes it very difficult to succeed in daily assignments. I would not recommend anybody taking employment United Illuminating in a Supervisory role.
