It’s a learning experience you get to meet lots of new people and obtain lots of knowledge from all of them it can be very fun as well that’s why it’s such a good brotherhood.
They paid well. They had good benefits. They we’re a growing company. And at that time they took care of their employees. Then once they went public everything changed.The.benefits changed, along with other things. They became fire happy, even people who had worked over 30 years.
United States army is a great job I was a unit supply specialist 92y, and later on I changed to a combat truck driver. Well I would my first tour was Germany 44th singal battalion we was a family we took care of one another, I was taught that way by E8,E7,E6,E5 and we was a company 1st sergeants and commanders 1st lt and 2nd lt was the bomb getting rank was easy ok leaving Germany, to Ft. Stewart GA states period its very racist not just whites but blacks and I'm from Alabama so I was seen as dump and stupid Shouldn't be where you from and being black was another question as from Alabama i had my job down pack working for the S4 shop as a 92y. I had to fight all the time cause of my color. 88 mike combat driver Ft. Riley KS was a great tour also still racist but older to do my job and beat they ass in pt going to the board and plus knowing my job. Getting rank in the states as being in the army is hard cause you got people trying to fool you and laugh out loud at you cause you want to gain rank. 88mike Me and my driver was hit by an I.E.D and we had no help as how to maintain as having PTSD and T.B.I now you are stupid and they want to put you out with no medical board. So if I knew what I no now how to act around racist people I woukd have been able to protect myself better instead of jumping to a fight. Thank you and if your kids join the military have their back from day one teach them how to save money not just ask for it , learn army values with them cause what he or she knows will help in civilian world for you also. When they get out you will be able too understand them better. My mom and two sisters they don't like me cause I'm different I've been married three times and all of those marriages they was behind my back each marriage telling them to run and take my money and run with my kids too hurt me plus mom and two sisters was asking for money at same time cause I loved them but they hated me and when the last wife left the left so now I'm single dealing with my problems cause the world is a great place always knew that. But when people know yiu have been in military the word gets around to fuck you over. Thanks requesting the info military is not all bad just be ready. Army of one.
